About imeon design

My name is Noemi, paper hoarder, crafter and creator.

My story is a simple one.

Years ago, I became a mom; my son and daughter are 14 1/2 months apart.  Yep. That close together.  My husband and I thought it would be best for me to stay at home to raise our kids until they entered grade school, then I would go back to the work force.

During this time, I looked for ways to keep my mind focused so that my return to the business world would be a relatively easy transition. A family member encouraged me to open up a shop on Etsy and "sell stuff".  But I had no idea what to sell, I don't know how to sew, knit, crochet, paint, make jewelry, soap, perfume or woodwork.  

"Make invitations and cards.", was her answer.  

I started off with some rather rough designs and opened up a shop named "imeon design".  My work gained national and international recognition; Martha Stewart Weddings, Anthropologie, Made in Paper Magazine, Cool Mom Picks, Hello! Lucky and PaperRunway.

Most of the paper product used in my shop are made from at least 30% post consumer product waste and can be recycled.
